These Super Sized 72" x 36" half round hearth rugs are made of synthetic fibers that preform similar to nylon but have a slightly lower melt temperature. These attractive hearth rugs meet the CPSC standard FF1-70 for flammability of carpets. This test is often called the "pill test" and certifies the carpet will not continue to support combustion once the ignition source has cooled or been removed.
